Description : Railway Recruitment Cell, Bhubaneswar (RRC/BBS) has released the notification for RRC Bhubaneswar Apprentice Online Form 2026 for engagement of Act Apprentices in East Coast Railway for the year 2026-27. A total of 1599 apprenticeship slots are available in different trades and units. The online application process will start from 26 August 2026 at 5:00 PM and the last date to apply is 15 September 2026 at 5:00 PM. • Complete the online registration using your personal mobile number and email ID.
• Enter your personal details, educational qualification and ITI trade details correctly.
• Select the eligible Division / Workshop carefully. Only one Division / Workshop can be selected.
• Enter your Aadhaar number or eligible Aadhaar Enrolment ID.
• Upload your recent photograph, signature and required certificates.
• Enter your Matriculation marks using the marks of all subjects. Do not use the best-of-five method.
• Pay the applicable application fee online.
• Check the complete application carefully before final submission.
• Submit the application before 15 September 2026 at 5:00 PM.
• Download and keep a printout of the submitted application form for future use.

Selection Process : Selection will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation. There will be no written examination and no viva. In case of equal marks, the older candidate will be given preference.

Stipend : Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend at the prescribed rate according to the applicable rules and Railway Board instructions.

Note : No hostel accommodation will be provided during training.

Q4. What is the minimum qualification?
Candidates must have passed 10th Class with at least 50% aggregate marks and possess an ITI certificate in the relevant trade.

Q5. What is the age limit?
The candidate should be between 15 and 24 years as on 15 September 2026, with applicable relaxation for reserved categories.

Q6. What is the application fee?
The application fee is Rs. 100/-. SC, ST, PwBD and Women candidates are exempted from payment of the fee.

Q7. Is there any written examination?
No. There is no written examination and no viva. Candidates are selected on the basis of Matriculation marks.

Q8. How is the merit list prepared?
The merit list is prepared using the percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation, considering all subjects. The best-of-five method is not used.

Q9. What trades are available?
The notification includes trades such as Fitter, Welder, Electrician, Carpenter, Machinist, Turner, Plumber, Wireman, Painter, Mechanic, Computer Operator & Programming Assistant and several other designated trades.

Q10. Will apprentices get a stipend?
Yes. Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend at the prescribed rate according to the applicable rules and Railway Board instructions.

Q11. Do engineering graduates and diploma holders qualify?
No. Engineering graduates and diploma holders are not eligible under this particular notification because they are covered under a separate apprenticeship scheme.
